Ingredients

  • 1 kg poisson d'eau douce mélangé (barbotte, perche, brochet) en morceaux
  • 4 tranches de lard salé en dés
  • 2 oignons hachés
  • 4 pommes de terre en cubes
  • 4 tomates pelées en morceaux
  • 2 carottes en rondelles
  • 250 ml maïs en grains
  • 1 L eau ou fumets de poisson
  • 1 Sel, poivre et fines herbes

    Melt the salted pork in a large pot.

    Add the onions and cook for 3 minutes.

    Add the water, potatoes, and carrots. Cook for 15 minutes.

    Add the tomatoes and corn. Cook for 10 minutes.

    Gently add the fish pieces. Cook for 10-15 minutes over low heat.
