  • 250 ml water
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp cold water
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 125 ml raisins

    Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).

    Line a pie plate with the crust.

    In a saucepan, heat the molasses and water until boiling.

    Dissolve the cornstarch in the cold water and whisk it in.

    Cook, stirring, until thickened. Add the butter and raisins.

    Pour into the crust and bake for 30-35 minutes.
