Ingredients

  • 1 hare, cut into pieces
  • 4 potatoes, cubed
  • 3 carrots, sliced

  • 1 turnip, diced
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 1.5 L broth
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 3 tbsp lard or butter
  • 1 Savory and thyme
  • 1 Salt and pepper

    Flour and brown the hare pieces in the lard.

    Add the savory and thyme. Simmer for 2 hours.

    Add the vegetables and continue for 40 minutes.

    Hare is more flavorful than domestic rabbit.
