- 500 g ground beef
- 250 g ground pork
- 2 chopped onions
- 3 minced garlic cloves
- 2 cans diced tomatoes(796 ml each)
- 1 can tomato paste(156 ml)
- 2 grated carrots
- 2 diced celery stalks
- 1 diced green bell pepper
- 250 ml sliced mushrooms
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 Oregano, basil, salt, pepper, and sugar

Brown the meats in oil, breaking them up well. Drain the fat.

Add the onions, garlic, celery, carrots, and bell pepper. Cook for 5 minutes.

Add the tomatoes, tomato paste, and mushrooms.

Season with oregano, basil, salt, pepper, and a pinch of sugar.

Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat.

Simmer uncovered for 2 to 3 hours, stirring occasionally. Serve over spaghetti.
