Ingredients

  • 500 g ground beef
  • 250 g ground pork
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 3 minced garlic cloves
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes(796 ml each)
  • 1 can tomato paste(156 ml)
  • 2 grated carrots
  • 2 diced celery stalks
  • 1 diced green bell pepper
  • 250 ml sliced mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 Oregano, basil, salt, pepper, and sugar

Instructions

    Brown the meats in oil, breaking them up well. Drain the fat.

    Add the onions, garlic, celery, carrots, and bell pepper. Cook for 5 minutes.

    Add the tomatoes, tomato paste, and mushrooms.

    Season with oregano, basil, salt, pepper, and a pinch of sugar.

    Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat.

    Simmer uncovered for 2 to 3 hours, stirring occasionally. Serve over spaghetti.
