- 8 peeled potatoes, quartered

- 1 Water to cover
- 1 Pepper(no salt, the salt pork is salty)
Instructions

Soak the salt pork in cold water for 1 hour to desalt.

Cut into pieces and place in a pot with the onion.

Cover with water and bring to a boil. Simmer for 30 minutes.

Add the potatoes and cook for another 25-30 minutes.
