Ingredients

  • 500 ml jeunes pousses de sapin baumier(cueillies au printemps)
  • 500 ml eau
  • 375 ml sucre
  • 125 ml sirop d'érable
  • 1 Jus d'un citron

    Rinse the fir shoots and place them in a saucepan with the water.

    Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and let infuse for 20 minutes.

    Strain and return the liquid to the saucepan.

    Add the sugar, maple syrup, and lemon juice.

    Cook over medium heat until syrupy (about 20 minutes).

    Let cool and bottle. Use on pancakes or in cocktails.
