Ingredients

  • 4 walleye fillets
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 4 fresh dill sprigs
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 French shallot, sliced
  • 60 ml white wine
  • 1 Salt and pepper to taste

    Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

    Cut 4 large rectangles of aluminum foil.

    Place one fillet in the center of each sheet.

    Top with lemon slices, dill, shallot, and a knob of butter.

    Drizzle with a little white wine. Season with salt and pepper.

    Seal the papillotes tightly.

    Bake for 15-18 minutes. Open at the table to enjoy the aromas.
