Ingredients

  • 500 ml milk
  • 125 ml maple syrup
  • 60 ml cornstarch
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 whipped cream for serving

Instructions

    Dissolve cornstarch in 125 ml of cold milk with the egg yolks.

    Heat the remaining milk with maple syrup.

    Pour the cornstarch mixture into the hot milk while whisking.

    Cook over medium heat, stirring until thickened.

    Remove from heat, add butter and vanilla.

    Pour into cups, refrigerate for 3 hours. Serve with whipped cream.
