Ingredients

  • 500 ml flour
  • 175 ml sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 60 ml 15% cream
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 Frying oil
  • 1 Icing sugar

Instructions

    Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, nutmeg, and salt.

    Beat the eggs with the cream and melted butter.

    Combine and knead lightly.

    Roll out to 5 mm thickness and cut into diamonds or twists.

    Fry in oil at 175°C (350°F) for 2 minutes on each side.

    Dust with icing sugar.
