- 1 packet of active dry yeast(8 g)
- 375 ml lukewarm water
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp lard or softened butter
Instructions

Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water with 1 tsp sugar. Wait 10 minutes.

Mix flour, remaining sugar, and salt.

Add yeast and lard. Knead for 10 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic.

Let rise for 1 hour in a covered bowl (until doubled in volume).

Deflate, shape into 2 loaves, and place in greased pans.

Let rise for 45 minutes. Bake at 190°C (375°F) for 30-35 minutes.
