- 125 ml lait
- 2 tbsp beurre fondu
- 1 tsp vanille
- 1 Sauce: 250 ml de cassonade, 250 ml d'eau bouillante, 2 c. à soupe de beurre

Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).

Mix flour, sugar, and baking powder.

Add milk, melted butter, and vanilla.

Pour into a greased 8x8 inch pan.

Combine brown sugar, boiling water, and butter for the sauce.

Pour the sauce over the batter (do not mix).
