- 80 ml butter
- 125 ml brown sugar
- 1 Maraschino cherries
- 375 ml flour
- 175 ml sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 egg
- 125 ml reserved pineapple juice
- 60 ml oil

Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).

Melt butter in a 9-inch round pan. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the bottom.

Arrange pineapple slices and cherries in the bottom of the pan.
