By accessing and using Feastpedia ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Feastpedia is a recipe encyclopedia that provides recipes, cooking guides, and related content. We also offer digital cookbooks for purchase and allow registered users to interact through comments and ratings.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features (favorites, comments, purchases), you must sign in using Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. User-Generated Content

When you submit comments or ratings on Feastpedia, you retain ownership of your content but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content on the Service.

You agree not to submit content that is:

• Offensive, abusive, or harassing
• Spam, advertising, or promotional material
• False, misleading, or defamatory
• Infringing on intellectual property rights of others
• Containing malicious links or code

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms without notice.

5. Intellectual Property

All recipes, content, design, graphics, and other materials on Feastpedia are owned by or licensed to Feastpedia and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may view and print recipes for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

6. Digital Products and Purchases

Feastpedia offers digital cookbooks for sale. All purchases are processed securely through Stripe. Digital products are delivered electronically and are for personal use only.

Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are final. If you experience technical issues with a purchase, contact us for assistance.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Feastpedia is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that recipes will produce specific results, as cooking outcomes depend on many variables including ingredients, equipment, and technique.

Nutritional information (including calorie counts) is provided as estimates only and should not be relied upon for dietary or medical purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Feastpedia shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of Feastpedia after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Quebec.
